- Lead my band, Johnny Wheels & The Swamp Donkeys, at the Waterfront Blues Festival, Cathedral Park Jazz Festival, Gorge Blues and Brews Festival, Sunbanks Music Festivals and many others — Additionally, the Donkeys and I performed as Jim Belushi’s band at one of his concerts, as well as shared the stage on other occasions with Jim Belushi and Dan Aykroyd.
- Win the Cascade Blues Association competition and compete as an International Blues Challenge finalist.
- Compete as one of the 8 finalists (from 325 bands) in the International Blues Challenge. I may be the only quadriplegic to preform in front of a packed Orpheum Theatre-Memphis and receive a standing ovation.
